Well it's getting towards the time when people start thinking about Christmas in July, in my house anyway. It started some time ago when we realise that not all the family could get up to us in the cold and snow.
As a result we get everyone together the last weekend in July and dare I say that we go the whole hog with me in my Santa Halloween Costumes and including my Santa Claus Hat, Wig and Beard. Dorothy takes the chance to go slightly over board because it is still warm and generally goes for a sexy Santa costume.
I know it's a slightly unusual approach but it gives us an excuse to throw a party that is full of Christmas celebrations and we have the whole Christmas atmosphere. For food, its normally cold Turkey or a barbecue with lots of ice cream. We sometimes set up a video link with my cousins in Australia, they are up in the Snowy Mountain Range and in July they live up to their name, Teddy is normally in full adult santa costume as he is slightly larger he goes for the Majestic Santa Suit Costume.
His son Brian is getting into Harry Potter and last time was wearing a Draco Malfoy costume. Judy his wife was wearing an Adult Batgirl Costume while not quite in the Christmas spirit certainly was unusual.
